Always a busy October…

And we aren’t even done yet!

October is our busiest month…my birthday, our anniversary, Corbin’s b-day…and Halloween. Throw in a parade for Ashlyn, a Harvest Festival at school, visiting with Chaz’s sister, Chaz’s parents coming to visit last weekend, a sleep over, a few Halloween activities next weekend…and I will be happy to see October behind me!

Sooooo…here’s a peek at what we’ve done so far.

On my birthday Ashlyn had a parade in Dewey. She is in Twirling and they walked in the parade. It was pretty much the lamest parade I have ever been in. (I walked with the Twirlers) But it was good practice for the girls. They will be in a Christmas parade in Prescott soon! Ashlyn was really nervous and was so hard on herself when she messed up. But I thought she and all the other girls did great!

Twirling, walking and staying in lie proves to be somewhat hard…lol…they still did awesome!

Later that night we went up to Lower Wolf Creek Campground to visit with Elizabeth and Jimmy. We just went up for a couple hours. The kids had a blast and really wanted to stay and camp but we weren’t prepared for that. So they made S’mores…and played with Jimmy’s kids and had a good time!

The sunset and crescent moon looked awesome on the way up there.

Keeping warm…without jackets… They quickly put them on though! When we left it was around 45* out there…they were in for a cold night! I hope they kept warm!
